Kenny, a young artist and High school senior brings a gun to school and aims it at a group of students in the cafeteria. After a suspension, he returns, under heavy surveillance by peers, inept teachers and guidance counselors, and is forced to make a public apology. His awkward sister and free-spirited aunt compassionately guide him to retrace events leading up to the violence – revealing his heart-breaking motives and leave the entire family changed.
